THE GREAT SHAKE UP (G.S.U.)

Parents,

Welcome to your GSU Headquarters!  This webpage will help you understand a little bit more about what we will be doing on Wednesday evening, March 31st at First Family Church.  The Great Shake Up events help promote kid-to-kid evangelism.  We will train boys and girls for three weeks prior to March 31st to learn how to lead their friends to the plan of salvation. But guess what? YOU ALSO PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN THIS EVENT!  We need all of our clubbers parents to help promote this event, help volunteer during this event, pray for this event, and one of the most iimportant things: HELPING TO 'TRANSPORT' during this event.  On Wednesday night, March 31st, we'll be helping you parents understand your role during this event. 

Below you will find some valuable parent resource links.  Pay particular attention to the GSU Tracking Sheet.  This sheet is designed to help your clubbers keep track of their progress during this 4 week event.  Also take a look at what The Great Shake Up really is, and learn about "Pass the S.A.L.T.", which is the core of the Great Shake Up.  We'll be giving your children invitations and other resources to help invite their friends to church.  Want to help out even more?  Click on the GSU invitation link below to print out your very own invitations and pass out to your child's friends at school or around the neighborhood!

GREAT SHAKE UP OVERVIEW

Purpose:  To train clubbers on how to invite friends to church

                          To train clubbers on how to help lead their friends to Jesus Christ

                           To train parents on how they can help by transportation of their child's friends

                             To train parents on how to invite their child's friends FAMILIES to church

                               To train parents on how to lead their child's friends FAMILIES to Jesus Christ

Clubber Goal:  Bring 5 new friends to church for one incredible night

Starts:  March 10th (Week 1)

End:  March 31st (Week 4)

Celebration Night:  March 31st - the night clubbers bring their 5 friends to church
